There are two different textures on the hardboard, coarse and smooth. I plan on mounting the rough side towards the door panel so the adhesive will have a more mechanical lock. The smooth side towards the door will make sure it fits completely flat and will have the most surface area.

I trimed the upper mounting tabs on the Bronco trim. This is somewhat how it will look after its all put together.

This is a view of it shortened. Both speaker holes don't line up to bad so i cant complain.

I cut the Bronco lower trim at a 45° to preserve the corner. I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it but it seemed to work out fine so far.

I drilled the holes and cut it out slightly larger than needed just to guarantee the fit. It's still kinda rough.

I will trim the bolt down later, and it will need reinforcements underneath.

I wrapped the ends from the coorogated tubing up to the back of the connector with electrical tap to attemp to make more of a water resistant transition. I used yellow because some of the other plastics were already yellow so it seemed fitting.

Normally I like to solder the joints but was in a rush. If I see wires poking out or if the joint is not as stiff as i would like or to be, I'll add a second a second piece of tubing the next size up just to enforce it

When I splice wires (especially if I am trying to hide the terminal color) I will cut it too length so the heat shrink goes up to the terminal

Nothing too fancy but drew up a quick reference schematic to keep my organized. Pretty much all I am doing is mimicking the H4 harness by extending the OEM harness and relocating the relays.

Heres the wires from the PDC. Its gauged appropriately and color matched to the OEM wires going into what used to be the H4 harness. Ypu can also see the terminals for the fog light relay. Right here between the OEM harness and the auxiliary PDC is going to be a connector.

This is what I ran for the two H4 relays. I still need to do the fog lights' relay.

Because I am merging the harnesses and since they include relays i will have to manage them. I do not want an assortment of relays bolted to the engine bay so I am running another PDC from another Cherokee as part of my dual battery setup for all of my accessories to run through.

That fourm can be read here:

This is the H4 harness lined up with the OEM harness thatbit plug into. My XJ did not come with fog lights so this is also a fog light upgrade.
