Default New to me 04 WJ.

I will be bringing this home in a few weeks. A little work to get her where I want her. It was silver before but PO painted Flat Black. All good. It has the 4.0 Dana 30/35 combo. The one thing I really like is it has the TC that has 2WD, Part-Time 4Wheel, 4HI and 4LO. I also really like the color of the rims. Can’t wait to get her home. The plan is to get a 4” lift and fit 285/75r16’s onto her. This will be my first Jeep that I have owned. I have always wheeled other rigs. Explorers Bronco and a blazer full size. Kinda excited for this one. So with out further ado here are the pictures.

Best drivetrain that was available in a WJ, however I wouldn't reccomend putting tires that big on a Dana 35.

I got new headlight assemblies, huge increase in visibility. Headlight expert site. Not expensive and fit great.

So A lot has changed since I first bought her. She is not lifted and I am working on replacing front axle from a V8 model. I also trimmed some fenders and is now sitting on 287/75r16's. I also moved the Washer Bottle. So far super happy with how she rides. Also got to take her out on the trail. She did great. Can't wait to get her out on the trail again. Here are a few more pictures of her.

Nice, the V8 models use the same front axle, it is your rear axle that is weak, a V8 wj will have a Dana 44a which is stronger and will swap in.

Before doing anything too adventurous off-road I would recommend doing something to protect the bottom of that oh so vulnerable radiator.

Don't ask how I know this to be a good idea - but my V8 was weighed in for scrap because of a piece of wood like a pencil stub.

I finished getting my Dana 44a installed. With new to me front axle from another V8 WJ. She feels a lot better with the springs mounted correctly in the buckets. I also took all the plastic off on the sides. I will when I get a chance bed line the entire truck. It will be a Grey color. Its nice being able to drive her again.

I have the RC 4" short arm lift. It has the bracket for the front LCA's to drop down about 2". So far it rides really nice.

Did a little tinkering this weekend LOL. I am almost done with a new swing out tire mount. Still have a little to clean up. Planning to put the Bumper cover back on it also. But for now I am pretty happy with how she turned out.
