OK...It's not THAT built, but I'll put what I've got so far...

As I got it:

Stock tires weren't really doing it for me, so time for an upgrade. A little room need to be made for the tires too!

4" BDS lift and 32" Pro-Comp Xtreme M/T's on...

A little rocker protection is next on the list, before I sustain any real body damage...
Prepping Sliderz for paint...

And Painted...

Install:

Essential Installation tool:

A 90 degree drill adapter would have been really helpful for a couple of the holes, but I got 'er done.

And They're on...

So, forgive my ignorance, but are those held on by big sheetmetal screws, or are they through-bolts?

Thanks!

They are also held on at both ends of the mounting arm. If you look in the first pics with the sandblaster, you can see the other tabs that bolt up just inside of the pinch seam.

They have been used often and done their job very nicely!

Later.

Nice job on the welding.
Yeah I was wondering how you bolted them also.
When I start my welding this winter I was going to make a set with a back bar that I can use as a clamp to pinch the whole rocker seam for more support.
I'm going to cut off a unibody rail off a donor first though so I can make stiffners on my buddies press. Then I can tap and bolt the sliders on.

PS. I was going to tease you about the blocks of wood under the jackstands and ask if you were afraid to scratch them but I see you posted they been tested.

Ha! Na...they're nice and scratched up already. The wood was there cuz that crappy jack was too short. I've since bought a better jack too though.

P.S. That paint is tough too! It's used on CT58 Helicopter engine components...not that I got them sprayed at work or anything...
...especially didn't add it on to a military work order that was getting sprayed anyway...That would be wrong!

LOL I know the paint very well............ Sikorsky has some high temp paint in wild colors and some nice stainless line also <g>

I've had a few parts fall in the chrome/gold vat at Assa Abloy.

Accidents happen. hehehe

It's so.... luxurious! Do you wheel it while drinking Starbucks and reading the Wall Street Journal? Cuz that's what I picture. Arguing with your stock broker on your iPhone? "Listen Jerry, don't sell until the market opens... wait a second, I'm climbing a 35 degree off-camber rock face right now."

Very clean, do you have more build plans for the future?

I always liked WJ's, I've done a few D44a rebuilds and a 1/4 trim on a buddies WJ. I'll find the pics and post them up!
