I guess I should've set some bounds there. Any Jeep parts that aren't covered in or filled with bodily fluids

I took the doors off, and kept the key locks so I can put them on the new doors.

Last night I was contemplating where to cut the rear frame...

To recap. I originally got the hitch plates from Brandon (Scarborough) a guy on ComancheClub who build MJ hitches. Anyway it's designed for a SWB because the bottom hole on the hitch is for leaf spring but since mine is a LWB, I ended up not using it.

I was thinking. What if I moved the hitch back to where the leaf spring bolt was, and drill new mounting holes on the frame. After measuring it ll be 8" chop. Not bad at all. I didn't want to bob the bed really close to the shackle mount but wanted to retain somewhat large load capacity in the bed.

I also removed the rusted winch crank for the spare tire.

I'm thinking I prob ll fab up a bracket and bolt it in place using those 4 holes to help stiffen up the X a bit. Or maybe that ll be where I ll mount the OBA tank. I dunno.
