Yesterday. I put the axle under the front. Set it where I wanted it to be at, via setting the length on lower arms, jacked it up high enough so I can put the tires on it. Adjusted the pinion to where I want it to be. Then measured & cut the tubing to make the upper link.

One problem though. Because the axle had 1" stretch in the front from factory. It now interferes with the trackbar mount.

So I took the mount off, cut the individual pieces apart, and basically mirrored it to have the bend on other side to clear the upper link mount on the truss. With that done, it clears perfectly.

Then I'm able to build the track bar itself.

About the track bar brace, since the bracket is mirrored, the brace now "face the wrong side" so I cut one end off, rotated it 180 degree & rewelded with a sleeve. I also had to drill a new hole on the top to line up with those 2 holes on the bracket.

I ll just upload them later..

Anyway new spindles should arrive on Monday. Then I ll instal them along with new bearings in the hubs. I need to grab the brake caliper brackets & clean them up at the same time too.

Once the Jeep is on its 4 wheels then the drivetrain ll go in next.

I need to find ball joint boots (all four of them). Then I ll install them on the knuckles at the same time I put the new spindles in.

Also. The draglink tie rod end that came with the kit I got. Must been for UTK cause the taper is reamed on the other side (the wrong side).

Apparently I can't ream the correct side so I gotta find the OTK version of the tie rod end.
