well guys, I thought I’d update this thread and let you all know that I finally purchased a used 87 module from cruiser 54 on here and just put it in tonight and once again, the Comanche shifts through all the gears problem solved bad transmission module it was.

Just an FYI, you guys need to be snagging TCUs from the junkyards whenever you can.

yup, they are and do fail on these old things, such was the case for me, mine slowly started taking longer to shift into 1st then quit all together in all gears after sitting for 6 months. but thanks to cruiser 54 she lives again!!!
