What is the Power Transmission setting for?

Not familiar with the Power Transmission thing. I have options of Power or Comfort in my 90. What's it for? Towing? What does it change?

Its a special switch that adds 100 rear wheel horsepower only use it in extreme conditions
....on a serious note it holds the shifts longer and makes them firmer LEAVE it in power mode because when in comfort mode it allows the transmision clutches to slip taking life off of them....later models came factory hardwired in power mode

Good. cuz if it doesn't, there's always a chance the switch is bad and/or the "trans" fuse is blown. If either of those are the case, you will be stuck in permanent Comfort mode and/or have no reverse lights.
