Hmm... 1995 Cherokee with 54k miles. Is a government surplus vehicle, guy's asking $5700 for it. What do we think? To pricey or about right? It's a base SE type model, nothing fancy, crank windows and manual door locks.

 

Sounds like he has no idea what the street value of that thing is.

 

Where are you located? You could probably drive a few hours away and get one much cheaper.

 

I live in East San Diego county. Everything in this area is so ridiculously overpriced compared to what I'm seeing other get them for. I can't find a clean 4x4 cherokee with under 150k miles on it for less than $6000! It's driving me crazy cause people keep talking about getting them for $1500 or $2000 and I'm just not seeing that.

I will be going with OME myself soon. Reason is I have had OME on my CJ7 and Land Rover (Both Sold) for over 20 years and lots of road and trail miles. All I can say is the OME is first class. I can only assume it will also be on my XJ, but my current springs are working just fine at this point and I need to spend money on other upgrades first. Only had the XJ about a month so not in a hurry.

 

I'm New to Cherokees here. I have a 94' XJ I'm planning on putting a narrowed Dana 60 in the rear, and a narrowed 44 in the front. I want to run 35, or 36 inch Patagonia mud terrains on it. Just wondering what kind of lift I should be looking into getting. Planning on doing mild-to serious wheeling on anything from washboard roads to slickrock trails. Thanks
