Default Question about ebay lift kit. And my otehr questions

Hey everybody. I bet this question has been asked a million times. But i could not find an answer.

Are ebay 3" lift kits worth the money? Are they pretty good or are they total crap.

Here is one for example:

Don't waste your time on the short AAL's. If you go the AAL route, get full length ones for better ride and longevity. I doubt those are quality shocks and no info is given about them. If you lift a newer cherokee you are almost guaranteed to need extra parts to get rid of vibrations.

I have a 94 2dr.

What is really the cheapest lift kit? I want to get bigger tires but i think 31" won't fit stock suspension, right?

I see. What is the best and cheapest 2-3" lift with shocks?

Can i get these shocks in 2-4" lift option and still use it with otherwise stock suspension? So i can add like a Rough Country lift later?

Cheap would be either zone or rough country as stated. But whatever you do don't get the ebay one. 3" coil spacers and aal would ride like crap and wouldnt last long.

Default My $10 Bucks 3" lift

Hope is not to late to save you some money i did mine with only $10 bucks in front i cutted a pipe same diameter as coil spring by 3" and in the back i didnt change the ride with ugly blocks i found a old set of leaf springs and used one of the middle leafs for a 2" or 2.5" lift clearance now with the $10 bucks i bought both of the leaf spring bolts. I have 98 XJ 4dr and used the stock shocks for a while NO PROBLEMS! OH! and i used BFG Muds 31x10.5 just watch it with the tight turns because it rubs on lower control arms a little and in the back if you have people it may know your flares out... Now i have 6" Rough Country lift w/ Fox Shocks CALI Style!

I run a cheap 3" ebay lift. 3" spacers and short AAL. For the $70 I paid it was worth it for me as I needed new tires and didn't want to buy stock tires only to turn around and buy some more when I bought a lift. The front rides smooth while the rear rides really stiff. But my cherokee is 20 years old so I don't really care to much.

That kit is from Fat Bob's Garage, a local shop for me here in Utah. All their budget lifts suck. Especially their AALs. I had this kit on my first jeep and i regretted it. Just spend the extra money and do it right the first time. Just my .02

GC front coil springs from JY 25$ and shackles from summit racing 50$ got me right around 3inches for 75$ and just had to trim a touch for 31s
