Default Lift kits?

I have been looking around online to find a moderately priced lift kit. Anyone know of some trusted site that is reliable and reasonably priced.

Thanks for helping

Ok first question.

1) What is recommend size of a lift? I still want it to be off road ready as well as able to drive on the road as well. I hear around 3' is probably the best for my model, will going larger effect my turning?

2) Will I need to get larger tires with any kit I choose?

Thanks

1. Anytime you raise the COG of a vehicle it effects the handling. If you understand that our jeeps arent race cars then you will be just fine. 3-4" is usually a good point to begin because you get lift out of the jeep but its not so big that it begins to eat your wallet alive.

2. No. But recommended.

I am interested in the same thing, and I want a kit that Includes EVERYTHING needed. I don't want to spend weeks hunting for a special bracket or something.
My SIL builds Dodge and Chevy trucks for Mud Bogging, And I see him always hunting for something. Or having to "Make" something to work. (Did i mention he's the worlds greatest jerry-rigger ) I want to do it right and not ruin a good Jeep...LOL

IMHO if you want a complete kit with everything you need except the SYE and driveshaft if it's needed is the Rubicon Express Kits... I ordered the 3.5 kit and it has everything i needed except adjustable track bar and shocks but I ordered those at the same time so no worries.. Complete and should not need anything else unless I have to go with an SYE..

Another lift company to look at is Rough Country. They have great customer service and sell a good product.

If you wheel a jeep you will soon be the next "worlds greatest jerry-rigger" as we all are.

Look into rubicon express and rough country, they are about as complete as you can get.

Mind sharing the link to those of us who are clueless as this is going to be my first time.

You guys think I should pay someone to do it, or could I manage on my own?

You guys think its doable for me on my own or is hiring someone the best option?

DIY is the only option, you learn an incredible amount of information when lifting your vehicle. Trust me the satisfaction alone is worth it.

Alright, looks like I got a couple of projects for this week. I will look into some new wheels as well I guess.
