i mounted mine to the headliner. it was quite simple cuz it was a piece of flat stock with 4 hole in it. just bolted everything up and called it good

im mounting mine in the dash. im taking out my ashtray and putting it there cause the cb im getting in fairly big

I have the radio and amp, mounted on the passenger side .Thank God my wife has short legs

I have a compass in my CB and it has to be level. So I mounted it on the roof above the mirror. In my '88 XJ (R.I.P.) it was mounted on the right side of the trans tunnel.
