well idk how tall you are or how big of a cb u have. but im 6'5 and mounted min under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. that was a no go. hit my knee while i drove and def in the way. i up graded to a tweaked out cobra 40. and mounted inon the pass side of the trans tunnel dosent take up alot of ur pass room its outta the way you can still see the controls and its easy to hide the wiring.

Yep, the passenger side of the trans tunnel is where mine will go.

Yeah any kind of decent sized cb won't fit under the dash ne way. On the trans tunnel is the perfect spot like it was made for it!

There was a vert small one already mounted In my 2001 when I bought it and it was very in the way. I would still def suggest the pass trans tunnel I have seen some who have cut their dash and mounted in the dash it didn't look good and I wouldnt suggest it. I have seen them
Mounted In the center console but to me seems to be a pain have to open it everything u wanna mess with it. There may be some aftermarket support for an over head console with a cb mount. But I'm not sure you would have to check into it.

Mines between the driver's seat and center console. It's out of the way and right beside me when I wanna mess with it.

I like mine up above, easy access and fits nice. Well I have a smaller radio so it fits nice, if I was running a cobra 29 or a bigger radio I'd prob mount it on the passenger side, just my 2cents lol.

My buddy has his on the under side of his dash, on the driver's side. it's just to the right of where his leg sits. He's a really small guy so his legs will almost never hit it. next time I see him i'll snap a pic.
