Check out Firestik and Right Channel Radio for their info libraries.
LOTS OF GREAT AND IMPORTANT CB INOF!!!

Here's my setup. The radio bracket is screwed to the roof/windshield support above the mirror. I drilled the roof right above the interior lamp for the antenna mount which also has a redundant ground you can see in the pic. I also installed a redundant ground from the battery to the body. Trying to get the best ground plane possible. My SWR readings arn't as low as I'd like. I need to replace the 2' Firestik with a 3'. The antenna and spring mount flex well and I have not broken the antenna even after a hole lot of branch hits over the past year or so. All the antenna hardwear is stainless. The Bike rack comes off when I go wheelin'.

Mine is a Cobra 19 and my antenna is a magnetic Lil' Whip. Not sure where they came from since they were gifts. My CB is tucked between the drivers seat and center console. I stuck it there until I got it mounted and it just happened to stay. I plan on mounting a Firestik on both sides behind the back tire, one for CB other for FM radio.

Mine is a Midland and I got it at a local truck stop off the interstate. I honestly can't remember how much I paid for it, maybe $30-40? I use a magnetic base antenna since I only use my CB on trail rides and store it in the back when not in use. I won't even guess what I paid for it, because I just don't remember.

I've got a Cobra 19 mounted to the left of the center console. It's out of the way there but easy to access. Here's a real crappy photo.

My cobra 19 mounted in my center console when not in use just cover it up with the lid. Then when use it take the lid off and hook the cable up. Nice and easy
