I just installed a Titan 4.7 Stroker motor! So Far it has been driven about 70 miles... Has anyone else had experience with these motors? if so any wisdom or advice you can give? or advice/reviews on the motor so far... it seems powerful... but im not sure how much so... Has anyone heard good or bad things about titan strokers... Thanks

 

This is very difficult to say, if you don’t tell us in which car you put the engine! J

In general the 4.7 Liter behafes like the 4.0L but with more power and toque. To the engine.
- You need to upgrade your injectors, otherwise it runs lean and gets hot.
- You need to brake in the cam shaft with rotella oil, then change after 100 km the oil to 10W40 for 500-700Km and then go for your favorite oil. Try to not excite 2500 RPm for the first 600Km
- Since you swaped the engine, check all connection in the cooling system, wires etc as many times as you can. Keep all gauges in focus wile driving. If something get lose, you want to know it before the engine blows up!
- Did you remap the ECU or you are running with the 4.0L ECU the 4.7L?
