Well for those who are interested I found a guy locally that is going to build my cage. He said working around the snorkel wont be a problem. I will post pics in a couple weeks when it is done. He is also cutting and folding my quarters, adding pieces to my bumper to fill the void, cutting out the rockers and welding in 2x4 square tube, building a trail vise mount to fit in my reciever, welding a CB antena bracket on the rear bumper, patching a hole in my cargo floor pan, and cutting out the thin reciever tube and welding in a new HD one. All this is being done for a max of $1,300. XTOR offroad in coggon IA. Look it up on facebook. If your close he is always looking for business. Ive seen his other work and it is quality stuff at ridiculously affordable prices!

Thanks for that link it beats the ugly *** Snorkels sticking up in the air on most you see running around on the streets for sure. They would be OK if you were in the jungle's and crossing streams time after time lol.
That Cowl Induction one makes since and very well done as it serves a duel purpose the other being fresh cool air. I can see this as a future upgrade if I pull off all that in the works right now.

I actually have that same cage. I cut it off one of the auburn auto repair vehicles that they parted out. I modded it to fit my chopped xj. I still can't figure out how to put my snorkel back on though.
