i have a similar cage but built of box tube (it goes great with the xj boxy body) i used seam sealer where it goes thru the roof ill try to post pics if i can figure it out

U mean the sheet metal aren't supposed to be welded to the tubes?

I like this style a lot bt I would weld the sheet metal to the Tube
