Hi.
I developed a death wobble just the other day and it turned out to be a stripped bolt that attaches the track bar to the front axle. The bolt was stripped over half its length. I guess I'm going to have to buy some spares in case it happens on the trail.

if the axle u joints were the problem they probably would be fixed by now, I've seen some bad u joints like with missing caps and all that usually causes is a lot of noise, but I could be wrong.. and from the looks of it superlift doesn't make a 6 inch lift so its probably a 4 inch kit with 2 inch coil spacers..if you don't know what to look for when searching for death wobble fixes you're probably gonna throw money at it trying to fix it. Take a tape measure with you and check the toe for the hell of it, and are the tires brand new or are the used ones the owner had put on?

steven i havent decided if im gonna buy it or not. and the tires have been on there for about a year and have half tread. the said it was a 6 inch lift they thought it was a superlift but idk im gonna check it out and if it looks like to big of a problem then im not gonna buy it. on my old jeep i had the death wobble and it was just because the tires were out of balance

I'm not a fan of buying something already lifted.Find a stock xj and build it your self this way you know what you have and no corners where cut.

It was the front right shock completely shot and it caused it to shimmy and hit hard when you hit a bump
