Thanks for the input. I am not a huge fan of the lock washers either. I will definitely look into it.

I use the Currie HD steering tie-rod unit. A lot more beefy than stock. Zero clearance issues. No death wobble or bump steer. Great unit in my opinion.

I think I'll look into that kit. Is it a complete bolt in without changing the track bar or sway bar link locations?

If you replaced a serious kit, how did you handle the holes that had to be drilled at 7/8 for the inserts?
I just installed this Heim steering setup this past weekend. Its made by B Lee's Off Road. So far it is working perfectly. Zero "dead spot" in the steering wheel. I replaced my Serious 1 ton setup with this kit. TRE kept wearing out giving play in the wheel. Drove me nuts. The biggest plus with the Heim kit you only have to drill pitman arm and knuckles out to 5/8". AND there is no modifications to the axle side sway bar mount. Just my 2 cents
