Ia m trying to figure exactly what I have to do to git 31's on to my jeep.
If I need to trim where is trim usually from? I am searching but I can not find it?

I am going to change my main rear seal Monday. I need the main seal and a pan gasket what else do I need?

A friend, 2 bandaids and bunch of shop rags.

I have to be real careful about cutting my fingers blood thinner makes me bleed. I got all the stuff just need the rear seal and pan gasket I guess. locktite something everyone says.

As to the 31's for daily driving will they fit?

once I get rear seal done I am going to replace water pump and then tires. I will check out treadwright

Your Jeep is lifted, right?

If it's not lifted the largest tire you're going to fit on there comfortably is a 235/75r15.

265/75-15 549$ delivered

Then I got to get them balanced

Reading on here the 265 fit just a little better
any opinions?

That's right.

You should be able to for the 265/75s well with a tiny amount of trimming.

i just put a 3" lift on my XJ got 235s on it and it really looks funny i'm planing on going with the 31x10s but would like 33s or 35s if they would fix

I finally got my jeep up and I got under it to look. I am not as sure it is rear main seal. It seems it might be the back part of the valve cover. I was wondering how to tell and if changing the valve cover gasket was easier than changing the main rear seal?
