Although this is true, the rear main is not hard at all.

Yeah, changing the valve cover gasket should take 15 minutes or so.

I'd give that a go.

New Valve cover gasket no leek so far. I put in a new T-stat and a water pump. My old T-stat was not there. All good.

I have fog lights and the fancy factory installed relays and switch. but they are not connected, so any help on how to wire the fog light up?

WHere are they not connected? The harness is there somewhere. You'll just have to find it.

Well, Now I need suggestions again.

I replaced the valve cover gasket, and the water pump, T-stat and put it all back together and have no drips.

My car is still getting hot. I need to know what I might have done wrong or what I need to check or what I can do to get my engine a little cooler

Drag Link.

If the drag link is only thing that wiggles what do you need to replace?

lol What end does the draglink wiggle on?

Is it wiggling at the pitman arm or is it wiggling at the wheel?

It seems to wiggle at the coupling part where the steering adjustment thingy.
so the the ball socket joint at the pitman wiggles and at the wheel/tire end.

I am getting some weird vibration and weird steering feedback. I jacked up my jeep and got it on jack stands with everything off the ground and the only thing that moves is the drag link.
the tire side of the drag link will rotate about a 1/4 of a turn back and forth.

Well, if you have play in either end of the drag link (In either 'tie rod end') then I'd say you need to replace it.

If you have play in the adjustment sleeve then you need to make sure it's tight and still has plenty adjustment left in it. If it only has a couple threads left (I don't see how this would be the case at your height) it needs to be adjusted and if it's loose and still tight then it needs to be replaced.

Replace anything with play in it.

(You should be able to grab the drag link and rotate it slightly but not a lot.)

How hard is removing the pitman? Are there some special "stuff" to replacing the drag link?
The only part that does not look pretty straight forward is pulling off the pitman. I am buying new tires do you think change and then put tires and then alignment, or different order?

It looks like the compiler is to far apart which is why the drag link wiggles is there something I can do to keep the steering wheel centered and the drag link not too far apart?

Thanks agian

They make pullers. IMO, this style works the best. Remove the nut and use the puller.

-------------------------

I'd Install the parts, get everything lined up well enough with a tape measure to drive it down the road to get the tires. Then take it to get an alignment.

-------------------------

At such a small lift I'd guess that your steering wheel is 360* off center. You should have plenty adjustment left on a small lift.

I have tons of adjustment left on my baby Jeep with a 3" lift.

OK so if I was going to go 360 degrees would I turn the coupler forward or backwards as in it turned towards the front tire or towards the rear tire?

Morrisy 4x4 has a free shipping sale and I am ordering the whole thing but I want to make sure I get it back together and not all F'ed up Again.

Also I am looking for more things to order at once. I need pads and shoes. I am thinking about new rotors and possibly drums. Do you have an opinion? I will think of a better way to ask that question.

Ebay has rotors and pads for like 140$
