new carrier to regear to 3.55?

so i just got a rear d44 with 3.55's and my current front d30hp is at 3.07, my question is do i need a new carrier to regear from 3.07 to 3.55 ?

no only 3.73 and higher

Unless you just rebuilt your front axle i would just grab one 91-99 from a 4.0 auto xj which is a 3.55 gear.
