True statements, but i doubt there is a car out there that doesnt have elbows or bends in the air intake. and PVC being smooth inside is the best you'll get.
Not to mention, its a 190hp I-6, and today thats probably about 160HP since these motors are close to 30 years old. So I doubt anyone is looking to get 20HP from a true CAI on their XJ. But if you add the sticker that comes with the filter, you MAY get that 20HP.
