Put the tube against the airbox. Take a sharpie and go around the diameter of the airtube. Cut a hole just smaller than that circle you made. Keep trimming until it fits tight.

I had a little trouble with the big wire loom, its in the way. Does your hood hit the tube a little?
Yes. I removed the zip tie that holds the wiring harness to the firewall right where your supposed to cut a hole then pushed the wiring harness down an inch or two. I mounted the plastic mount as far down as I could but the hood still hits the tube but not enough to restrict air flow. It would clear better without the plastic mount, just drill a hole and shove the tube in there like Dukie did then seal it with rtv or another sealant.

Awesome. The spectre tube came with a rubber piece that the end of the tube screwed into, then the other end of the rubber piece slips over the plastic mount. I then put on a hose clamp to secure it. Down the road if I get tired of it barely touching the hood, Il either take the plastic mount out and only stick the hose through, or add a couple washers to the hood mounts like they do to keep engine bay temps down.

After 2 hours give it a feel, if its nearly dry Id say your good to go. If your way below 70 degrees or way above, it will take more time to fully cure. You just dont want it soft enough to be pulled by the suction of the intake.

I like my setup. although it's a pain in THE *** to check/change the filter. It was less work to install it and i gained a ton of free space under the hood.
