Ran into a problem. Since the tube goes into the airbox the air filter hits the tube

i cut mine lower to avoid having to trim the filter....

Iv seen people cut a little bit of the paper part of the filter away. As long as you dont cut all the way to the filter base. Or just trim the air tube.

Well tried to put it on but the rtv didn't hold plus I couldn't get the tube past my fuse box. FML

Thats because the rtv wasnt dry and you shouldnt have installed it yet. And fuse box??

What fuse box? That should be on the other side the the engine...
