it's covered where I punched through right by the hinge

man looks good i guess ill do the same thing and way cheaper...
but where did you get the last piece, the one that conects to the firewall.. and how did you keep it there?

it's a stock elbow that usually runs from the airbox to the throttle body. I cut the sharp bend off and stuck it in the cowl. Everything is the perfect side so it stays in place and seals without any assistance

yea I did. Crossing the river pushed some water up into the box. A very small amount, but enough reason for me to seal it.

yup it works great. I leave it on the truck 24/7 now as a TRUE cold air intake as well.
