it looks a bit small but should work fine for most - I wouldn't go smaller than 2.5" inside diameter

Ill monitor it and report back. havent had any issues yet and have taken the heep over 1500 miles

How did you get it in the cowl part and have it stay what kind of glue did you use

Used a 3 inch hole saw to cut into the cowl and the air box and use marine grade RTV

Great setup. I can't believe the number of people who asked the same questions about rain and snow.

Quick edit: For anyone looking to gain some power with this setup by having a true CAI, keep in mind that corrugated hose causes substantial airflow turbulence. OTOH, two sharp 90 deg elbows is also not great for air flow. I can't decide whether to go with the RV sewer hose setup or the PVC/ABS elbow setup.

One question for the OP - did you use PVC (and paint it black), or did you use ABS?
