couldnt find a thread for this. wanna see the pics of your guys homemade snorkels so i can get some ideas for mine. im almost done installing but really need/ want to see how you did your filters (covering them) and under hood. thanks in advance

 

I dont have one, but If I was gonna do it I would run it into the stock airbox.
plug off the hole in the front, and run the air tube into the bottom, keeping the stock paper filter (better filtration than any cotton/gauze filter out there). go up along the pillar, with a 90 at the end.

 

yeah i eliminated my stock air box. the front intake hole was so rotted out that there was no way to seal it. ive read on here some people using 2 all the way up to 4 inch piping. i decided to go with 2 because it doesnt look like a drainage ditch pipe strapped to my jeep. i think its coming out pretty good. didnt get to finish it because i only had one 45 need 2 more. im going to run up a pillar to another 45 at top then put the filter straight up and down and cover with a coffee can. may be bulky but i need the splashing water to stay out. plus the local mud hole has a buggy wash to drive through and that would be bad. heres my pic for where we are as of now. will update when i finish
