Default Leaf springs

Alright so I have rough country 3" leaf springs. The bushings are worn out and the bushing and sleeve on the front leaf spring eye slide back and forth in the front leaf spring mount. So should I replace the bushings (would they come with new sleeves also?) or just bite the bullet and buy some other leaf springs? Basically I guess what I'm saying is it sliding because the leaf spring is shot and the eye has some how increased in size. Or are the bushing and sleeve just shot?

Bushings are shot, they usually come with sleeves. If it were me I would buy a better brand leaf spring. But if they're not sagging I see no reason to get rid of them

Buy new ones and either keep this set as spares or sell it to recoup your money back.

What is a brand of leaf springs that have a pretty good ride and aren't break the bank expensive? I'm not saying cheap just not the best money can buy. I'm looking for springs that give almost exactly 3 inches. I would prefer 3 or less because the rear is already about an inch or two higher than the front.

I'd go with the Zone 3".
As much as I like the RE, you'll "stink-Bug" with their 3.5" packs on your rig.

You and your RE but yeah I would love RE but they are notoriously high. If I go higher in the rear I'll want higher in the front and it's a vicious expensive never ending cycle. I can't go higher in the front because I don't have the money to do it right and I'm not going to cheap out. How well does zone hold up? Do they're bushings get trashed as fast as rc?

That's we I didn't suggest RE....Too Tall.

Zone uses Urethane Bushings, not sure what RS uses.

All urethane bushings are going to transmit road noise and vibes to a greater extent than OE style rubber bushings. Keep them lubed and they won't squeak as much.

Do you know if they ride pretty good because the rc bushings appear to be rubber but the ride sucks.

Alright so rough country bushings are $30 but zone springs are $300 so I think I might have to stick with the rough country springs because I don't have the cash. Does anyone know if I can buy the bushings somewhere other than rough country or buy better replacements?

For the best quality and lowest cost made in NA is Rustys I've had mine on 4 yrs now and no problems 2 yrs ago used my 3" Rustys leafs to increase my lift to 4 1/2" using Boomerang Shackles. The ride has always been good with them on/off road and the length is correct for an XJ to begin with.
