Default jk door hinges on xj

Soo my friend trash is 07jk and his giving me a few pieces like bumper and fenders. And I notice my Xj hinges are rotting away badly till my doors just drop when open as crazy it sounds can i use the jk door hinges and base on my xj?? A slightly cut on my Xj door and boom removable jk on a Xj plus cool looking hinges

I feel like you would definitely have to reinforce the fender portion of the hinge significantly (especially if it's a2 door) or else your doors will be pretty floppy when opened and possibly even while closed.

What I need to fin is to fill the gap for the Xj and reinforce the for where the jk hinges will hold to the door

This is the base for then 07jk my problem is finding how to mimic that on the Xj which is a big gap

Just weld your hinges back on. Its going to be a huge headache to get your doors to hinge off of those, and youll basically be turning your fenders into a giant snapple cap.
