Hello. 1997 xj with 4.5 inch ADD A LEAF kit. MY rear leaf springs and pretty saggy. I would like to replace them with somthing thatll give about 4.5 inches in the rear. Then I can remove the shackles that came with the lift and save them for next year when i wanna go bigger. What kinda options are there for 4.5' rear leaf springs? Any junkyard parts i can swap together or make a bastard pack?

 

Bastard packs usually give you only about 3 inches, unless you get really big shackles to compensate, but then you could get some weird shackle angle issues. I would just drop cash on some BDS or RE rear leaf springs. I like BDS because they have a lifetime no questions warranty.

Check Rustys Off Road I have their springs and leafs now for 2 years no sag period. Or just go to a local spring shop and have them make what you want.

 

Yeah, I have them on my xj. I believe they are 3" inch springs with 1.5 inch shackles to give you 4.5" total which is what you want. PN# 004209 Give them a call, they're incredibly helpful. 517-279-2135
