Default High beam issue

I have upgraded my headlights on my '99 xj, using relays. Only problem is that once high beam is selected, they remain on high even after returning the lever to low beam. Pushing in the headlight switch does turn them off. I am pretty sure i wired the relays correctly. Assuming i did, any ideas what the problem is ?

How did you wire the relay ? or did you buy a relay and wiring kit ?

pull the fog light relay out if you have one, unless you have running fogs

I bought the relays and instructions from Daniel Stern Lighting and everything worked for awhile. I'm now thinking it may be the high beam/turn signal switch that has gone bad.

Saved me $50 for a dimmer/turn signal switch which was not the problem. Since I don't use the fog lamps, I pulled the fog lamp relay and that took care of it. Thanks for the tip!
