Sorry to hear man. I'm in Lancaster but grew up in Wyoming county. I may be able to swing by Sunday if you're free.

I dig this. Wish I lived close enough to help, the best thing right now seems like some good productive hard work to keep your mind off the negative.

Its awesome to see people offer their help, hope you get it done man!

I'm always down to help a fellow wheeler if I got time! I run a local club and our members are frequently helping out each other.

The front mount for the leaves is inside the frame rail n its got 13 years of ny winters so mad salt exposure the mechanic couldnt even budge it with his impact or my brothers impact either

Mine had 17 years of Missouri salt n rust...

Have you been spraying with PB Blaster? On the front leaf bolt, you gotta stick the straw in the frame rail and point it (you gotta guess) at the back of the weld nut. Really soak them good.

As for the impact, its hard to get one in there, I'm guessing you used a wobble joint? That robs torque. The best way to break those suckers free is a 1/2" drive wrench with a 2 or 3' cheater bar on it. Put it on that bolt, lay underneath it, and pull that bar down as hard as you can. Remember, the further out on the cheater you hold it, the more torque you apply.

Yeah, spraying the head of the bolt won't do you any good. There are some holes in the frame near that bolt, just stick the spray straw in there, point it about where you think the weld nut it, and unleash hell...LOL! Same tips goes for upper shock bolts, spray down inside the unibody to get to the weld nut, not the bolt head...rear shackle bolt is the same too.

I ended up dumping about 4 cans of PB Blaster on mine pre-lift. Just spray everywhere...also, on the leaf bolts, stick the straw between the bushing and the mounting box and give it a good soak on both sides to help with seized bushings...

alrighty i been spraying in the frame at the weld nut last night today i will keep going until i have time to try breaking it free the other bolts are accessible enough to just torch them off and replace them with new hardware n we didnt spray the head of the bolt didnt spray them at all i will even try a small butane torch thru the frame hole n try heating the nut up to break the rust free im a big boy i should be able to stand on a breaker bar n pop it free with all this prep work im doing now
