Ta-da!!!

Did you get them out or just loose? If you just got them broke loose, keep an eye on the mount box to make sure the bushing isn't seized and pulling the box out. If thats the case, there's a fix for that too.

Glad they broke loose nothing worse then being all ready to do the job and having a few bolts not want to cooperate with you. I just pulled a lift off of my buddies 90 xj it has been on it for 6 years and surprisingly the leaf spring bolts came right out with no issues Cant wait to see finish pictures of it installed.

Worst case if the bushings are seized you'll need a grinder and cutoff wheel. Cut the leaf eye off, spin the bolt (to turn the bushing and eye) 180° and cut the eye in half. It'll fall off. Cut the outer bushing sleeve, rotate 180° again and cut the other side of the bushing sleeve. Heat a box knife with a torch to cut through the bushing rubber and get that out too. Use a large flathead screwdriver (or similar) and hammer to pry the inner sleeve apart at the seem until the bolt will thread out through it. This worked on one side for me. The other side I cut the bolt head off and threaded it out the rest of the way. Just remember if you have to cut the bolt, put a wrench on it so it can't spin, otherwise it'll jack up the weld nut threads and you'll be hunting down an M14x2mm tap (ask me how I know).

I got most of this written up in my build thread in case you run into problems and want to look it up opposed to waiting on me to respond, lol!

Good luck man!

finally worked on the lift, we were only able to get the back done so it looks like a hot rod cherokee. took only three hours torched, welded and fought the whole way but its up now! i tok some pics and will get them up soon as my phone starts to cooperate with me. im riding at 20.5 from center hub to wheel well i think it was at 17 or 18 before i forgot to remeasure today, so i got 2.5 to 3.5 inches of lift, im pretty positive it was at 18 so thinkin im at 2.5 inches of lift out of the OME medium duty leaf spring they were said to lift it 2.25" so we shall see what happens after driving around on them. Also the sway bar in the back was broken so we just took it all out goin no sway bars on my XJ :-) so i have a slight vibration while im on the gas it stops if i take foot off pedal and it only occurs goin between 20 and 30 around 40 it stops would that be my u joint?

Alright gents still wonderin bout that vibration im getting between 20-35 mph during exceleration its gotta be the u joint on my drive shaft right? I only went up like 2.5 inches thought that was not supposed to happen with such a short lift any easy aka cheap fixes or build threads i should be checkin out?

It could be anything that is involved in the rotation of the tires. Axle shaft u joint, wheel bearing, driveshaft u joints. If you think it's the rear driveshaft take it out and drive it in 4wd. If it doesn't vibrate then it's safe to say you need u joints there.
