Just this past week I put a 2" RE kit on my 99' with 31's and it only rubs at full lock which doesn't concern me because I'm personally not going offroading at all so I don't need the flex. Also RE notoriously run about a .5-1 inch higher than advertised.

Yup. I also recommend searching the for sale section on here or craigslist for used coils/shocks. That'll help keep costs down. I'd probably stay away from RE coils cause I've read they're really stiff and give you more lift than advertised unless you have weight (bumper/winch) on front. Also try google shopping to compare prices once you've determine which coils you want. You can find free shipping (which really adds cost) that way too.

yepp sure did picked up new jk rubi shocks pretty cheap so ill keep an eye out

My thread has gone done been hijacked hahahaha i dont care glad to see people gettin some answeres here soon as i.get my scheduale for next week i will be workin on my jeep i promise i have talked to my bro hez the mechanic of the fam im only a cook he on thirdshift at the salt mine, good ol ny state lol, so hell help me in afternoons n we`ll get r done n i will have pics n measurements for you guys i cant wait ive wanted to do this for six years now ever since i bought it!!!!!

Jbdpayne a good woman wont care bout diamomd size my wife was happy with a 1/2 k total weight it has bout 12 stones in it all kinda small but its a pretty ring n she loved it. If she loves you she wont care bout size. Dont know you guys so i hope i dont offend just sayin im sure she loves ya n will be happy with whatever ring you get her just like my wife was

No a good woman won't be concerned about size (of the ring) but I would guess most would be upset knowing the ring was compromised for Jeep parts.

No my life went to hell in a bucket n just tryin to enjoy the ride my brother ran outta time to help me, need to cut frame to remove old leaves i cant do that stuff without help, and gettin divorced thrown right in the middle of it all just trying not to drown in it all so ir anyone out there near perry ny ( buffalo, rochester and surrounding) can ya help a brother out i really want to get this thing lifted!

Cut the frame to remove the springs? There might be an easier solution. Whats the problemo?
