So my buddy helped me install my Hids last night, since he's done them. He didn't want to use my harness since he didn't use one and hasn't had an issue. Well my low beams are pretty similar to how they were before, but my high beams are 6000k. Could that be harness related? Or is this the bi–xenon low/high?

I'm also going to buy the items I need for the DIY retrofit projector housing next week. Should be fun!

Haha, I figured it was needed. Since a new harness improves stock lighting, why wouldn't it work for HIDs? I had a friend help install since I've never done it, however after watching some guides and helping install, it's pretty easy. Is adding the harness pretty easy? I know I have to take off the grill, right?

It's pretty straight forward just part of it hooks up to the battery then one plugs into the stock light harness and then into the housing then the other just plugs into the other one. Just make sure to put you fuses facing up in the engine bay of youll have to get new ones in 6/8 months

Hey guys, so I either messed a bulb up or blew a fuse. I disconnected my battery today to some some electrical work, then hooked it back up, and my jeep wouldn't start. So I turned my headlights on (even though they didn't come on at first), went to my battery and moved the cable I took off a bit and the lights came on and I started up However, only my drivers side light came on. My high beams work on both sides though. Due to time I was unable to properly diagnose this, so I'm wondering what it could be.
Edit: Went back out, pulled the bulb, turns out it blew. Talked to the guy who I bought from and he'll replace them.

I tried installing the harness today and the lights wouldn't turn on. I removed the harness, and they powered up. I had the cable from the bulb plugged into the harness, then the harness cable going into the ballast. I had both grounds grounded to the body too.
Any ideas?
