I was wondering though.. what do I do for a housing? I contacted the guy, but I'm curious. Do I use my existing one or do I need to buy a 'HID housing'?

So I should get new housings? I have glass head lamps now, one of them is by Sylvania. Do the bulbs come out or is this an all in one thing?

OK. Do you have a link to what you bought, or a site I can check?

Thanks

So it's worse going to a quality housing like that then? I suppose there really isn't much of a choice, but I just want to know what the better housing offers.

Thanks!

I've seen a lot of people happy with the Autopals from ebay.

DO NOT put HID's into a regular housing like have been linked above. Because you have already purchased the HID's you are now committed to doing a projector retrofit so that you are are properly directing the light from the HID bulbs. Using housings designed for halogen bulbs with HID bulbs will result in a 'starlight dazzle' effect which blinds oncoming drives and can get you pulled over.

Given that all HID retrofits are illegal (per federal law) the last thing you want to do is draw more attention to yourself.

What kind of housings are packaged with your kits?

Retro fitting costs like a couple hundred though, right? A few of my buddies have the eBay HID kits and haven't had an issue with them, even regarding the legality of them.
