Default Froehlich HID Kits?

Hi guys,

I was reading into getting a true-projector HID kit for my XJ, and saw people mentioning the Froehlich kits, I found Lead Foot and was going to send him a PM about getting a kit, but I noticed he hasn't been active since October of last year. Upon checking the Froehlich website, I found that both were down, and his facebook page hasn't been updated since 2013? Is he still around?

He ran into some issues in late 2013/early 2014 and stopped posting here or responding to anyone's emails. He apparently had more orders than he could keep up with and imploded as a business. I think you're out of luck at this point. Here are some threads:

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/fs...ecords-192177/

That second link was the thread Outlaw Star set up to track whether people were getting their orders fulfilled. Lead Foot was active on that thread until June 2014, then disappeared. Lots of angry townfolk with torches and pitchforks in that thread.

I bought a set from him it too me 6-7 months to get mine. Only after I started harassing everyone on his personal fb page called his employer and told her to expect police to come disrupt her business as they look for Kris , also I had started to take legal action with my local pd having them contact his local pd and contacted state and local governments about what was going on and reseated shown there was no business licenses. 4 days later I got my lights. I believe I was the last person to also They work great but I highly suggest making your own. I installed them in my YJ , I have a few buddies who built them for their rigs

I recommend making them yourself and save a lot of money. I was in about $200 for my first setup. My current setup could be done for $300

Here's my current setup

Those seem outrageously expensive, especially when I've seen true projector kits with high beam servos for like 300 bucks.

Someone got in touch with me and is willing to sell me their old froelich kit they never installed, am I correct in assuming those have the shades/servos that allow you to have low/high beams?
