Kinda looks like after a while it would bend but maybe with top and bottom it settles out.

I loved going doorless in my last XJ. I took every precaution I could come up with and find but the doors never really fit right again. Sure did look and feel cool, though.

I posted a thread on it.

Basically two officers stopped me and my friend. Officers were black, male and female. Both my buddie and I are white.

The lady was the driver, and asked if I knew that driving around Milwaukee without doors was illegal. I said no. They let me go.

Later I called the district and was informed that driving doorless was NOT illegal.

I call racism. No joke.

I can take the doors on and off by myself, its just the wiring; having to jam it back through the hole can suck somtimes. Heres some info on my experiences

- The upper door pin the drivers side has to go in from bottom - up, then held on with a nut because the metal of the door blocks the bolt from going in top to bottom. The nut once fell off and almost lost the door when getting back in the truck from picking up my g/f ... nice

would have been nice to know that part.....

Nope, take a dewlap and cut some of the metal out of the inside of the door, then drop the pin down. Safer, and easier.

Okay so would anyone with a 97+ tell me how they got their doors to not sag? Like an indepth how too..

Because mine sag about 1 1/2 inches right now, I don't care if they sag a little I just want them to be able to close on their own.

The bolts have to be snug in their holes. drill to 3/8" bolts. The only reason they sag is from loose hinge pins

Okay so I need to drill out the hinges with an 3/8 bit, then get an 3/8 bolt so they wont sag?
