Your gonna have to cut them bad boys out. They are pressed from both sides

I noticed that the ealier XJ's had an easier and simplier way of doing this. I've read that on the 98 and up (iirc) it's much more of a PITA. But thank you.

Yep, she's my daily driver. I'll take her anywhere I need/want to go lol. I usually take the doors off as often as I can.

The wiring wasn't that bad, just took a bit of time (cutting, stripping, crimping, heat shrinking). The connector has a real tight fit to itself to keep weather proof, so lubing it up seems to help separate the 2 ends.

And thanks, having the kick panels off got annoying lol.

Well drilling them and gretting the door lined up isn't as easy as I thought it would be. It can close on its own every once and I wile but other than that, it still wont and has to be lifted. Yeah I'm kinda pissed at it right now..like I'm ready to chuck some tools at it..

Well I haven't cut my hinges in half yet cause I have to wheels. But full blots are where its at. I had four half bolts in and it still had a 1 1/2 inch drop. But a full dolt made it only about a 1/4 -1/2 drop..still kinda hard to close but it stll can kinda close on its own.

Here pictures of the wiring. I have 3 bolts because I didn't drill my top ones out right. And it still works fine. I had my door off today and I did it in the parking lot in less than 2 mins.
