Default Front of steering box leaking

Hello, first post here. I couldn't find a thread for a leak on the front of a box, just the pitman arm seal, upper, and the input shaft.

I just installed a YJ box from Redneck Ram that is drilled and tapped for hydro assist. Just fired it up to get some fluid through the system and it started leaking from the front of the box very quickly. (The front of jeep) (circular part of box farthest forward). I have checked all other lines and everything else is dry. The hydro assist ports on the box are plugged for now until I get the ram on as well.

Has anyone experienced this? My buddies and I haven't so I thought I'd ask. Is it worth rebuilding or is the box done for?

Thanks.

The only thing there is an o-ring. Remove the gear from the jeep. The circled hole is for removing the snap ring. Turn the shaft on the steering gear slightly to push the plug out. Only enough to push the plug out. Turn the shaft back to original position and replace the plug and snap ring.

Nice. That's good to see. Do you know where to find the O ring? Also, are you describing turning the pitman arm shaft or the input shaft side once I pull it again?

Thanks!

Input shaft. Sit it in a bench vise and use a 12 point socket. I should’ve mentioned that. I have seen the seal and snap ring sold by itself but I needed a reseal kit. I got mine locally and I believe it was made by gates. I ordered one online and of course it was the wrong kit.
