Default Steering box

My steering box needs to be replaced. I dont plan on getting tires larger than 31s. Should I replace the box with a new xj box or do the durango box mod?

new XJ box, or even a junk yard replacement that's hopefully not leaky

If you find a s10 or YJ box, they are better also. The YJ is better for off roading, the s10 will have a faster speed. Food for thought

stock replacement works great, especially if you don't plan on going over 31's even with 33's you'll be good. But if your going to the junk yard might as well look for a good looking Durango one.
