Anybody on here running fender flares with a snorkel with cut fenders I'm just looking for what kind how high did you cut the fender and how does it all worki'm running 35 12.50 on 8 inch wide wheels with 2 inch backspacingso there's a lot of tire stick it out and I was just wondering if it's worth trying to do a fender flare or just let the mud go everywhere and just wash it off after

If it's not cut up already you could probably do the Bushwacker flat flares with no problem. If it's already cut for pockets you can't run them though.

They don't require you to cut out as much as a pocket flare and only cover about as much body as stock. Width wise you may still stick out a couple inches.

I'm running them with 285/75 R16s, which are only about an inch shorter than a 35" and 4.5" of lift and would easily clear 35's. I don't have a snorkel but since it doesn't cover much more than a stock flare it should be safe I would think.

If you go with cut out flares these cover 5". That should catch most of it.

I also ran a quick Google search and looked at images. There are plenty with pocket/cut out flares with snorkels if you look around.

As was mentioned/asked above it would also depend on how much lift you have as to how much you need to cut out too.

i have bushwacker cut outs and a snorkel. i had to trim a bit off the top of the bushwacker, but if you're good with a blade or grinder, it doesn't look too bad when together.

If you don't have abs airflow makes a thinner snorkel that mounts a little higher on the fender.Or the arb one will fit if you cut a little but on the flare and not use one bolt you can't see anyways.

Or you could use a cowl setup, unless you plan on having the hood under water.

Agreed. I just finished making my cowl intake and love it. I don't plan on having the hood under water so it was more than enough for my needs.

They are cut but only to the top of the flare bump

I've got a 6.5" long arm and yea I've had the hood under on my other rigs and I'm in the process of extending all the breathers even Tranz and xfer case

Here is how I did mine, two are just for reference on how I did the whole process.

I eliminated the hose going through the fenderwell and up into the airbox...



I capped off the old inlet...



Here is how I trimmed the flares to mold around the snorkel...
