This is my fender on my XJ... the PO had already trimmed it... I want fender flares, the Bushwhacker flat style ones. My issue is, with these fenders being cut, is it an option?? Looking for an expert here who is familiar with this issue and possibly can judge how much was taken off my fender by the PO. However any suggestion is helpful. Thanks everyone.

i have TJ flares on mine, not the prettiest thing but they were $20 and they get the job done, just needed them to cover the tires so i dont get anymore tickets.
maybe contact bushwacker and see if you can get a template?

^^^ even if you get tj cut out type flares you will have enough to cover any hacking that has been done...tjs have bigger wheel openings to start with then we do

lol I see what you mean... the options are cool too. I am thinking the TJ's to start with, then move up if I can to the Flat ones.

well if he makes tj flares fit....he can get the tj flat fender flares...i'm just thinking it looks like his fenders got hacked pretty good and he may need the setup for a bigger opening

its not always about looks.
some people might find it more effective to spend $400 elsewhere then on some peice of cheap plastic fender flares. i paid $20 for my set of TJ flares, are they the best looking thing? probably not, but they get the job done and if i smash them into a tree im not gonna get my panties all in a bunch
