Default Fender Flare Options for a cut fender?

This is my fender on my XJ... the PO had already trimmed it... I want fender flares, the Bushwhacker flat style ones. My issue is, with these fenders being cut, is it an option?? Looking for an expert here who is familiar with this issue and possibly can judge how much was taken off my fender by the PO. However any suggestion is helpful. Thanks everyone.

I love how you get all these replys and noone answers your question haha the flat flares use the top 2 factory mounting holes. I'm sure you could throw them on, just move them up.

Just looked at your build thread... actually with some extra work I think the TJ's may just work out. Thanks guys.

lol I see what you mean... the options are cool too. I am thinking the TJ's to start with, then move up if I can to the Flat ones.

its not always about looks.

some people might find it more effective to spend $400 elsewhere then on some peice of cheap plastic fender flares. i paid $20 for my set of TJ flares, are they the best looking thing? probably not, but they get the job done and if i smash them into a tree im not gonna get my panties all in a bunch
