Fender Flare Options for a cut fender?

Yeah it looks like the PO cut my fenders past all the lines but may have followed them to keep the cuts straight and as even as he could. Both sides are cut in the same place and are cut the same way. There are no factory holes for the factory flares. The rears are uncut but he removed the factory flares, all mounting holes are still there.

Until I find some flares to experiment with I may do like rweaver138 did before his flares and just put something to cap the cut along the fender... I thought that looked pretty cool. What was that, that you used?

oh and the plastic stuff rweaver used is probably door edge guard like to protect your doors from chips.. i used the same stuff on mine after trimming.. its got glue inside you just press it on and cut it to length it makes it look pretty clean. you can get it at pep boys or napa or just about anywhere that sells auto accessories, if you want colored ones some honda/acura dealerships used to stock the basics... but for gods sake please dont get the chrome stuff... lol

Its funny how most people in this thread try to post something helpful, then you do your common thing of being no help just an *******. Never seen any pics of your ****, so its hard to tell if your a good judge of something being ugly or not. But I guess you like your jeep to be a pretty mall crawler.

entertainment - watching something you don't have, or something that is better than what you do have, and wishing you had one like it.

Ohh and to answer the original question, I dont think you can use the bushwhacker flat fender flares with out modding them some. Because according to there install directions you need to use two factory flare holes.

here's a question... are you trying to make it look more like stock? because if you are, you can just get 2 sets of XJ flares from junkyard for near nothing and plastic weld them into larger stock looking flares.

wow......back in black just lost all credibilty.....dude run your mouth and you a have a puck lifted, spotless, clear out lensed, chrome grilled, mall crawler...nothing against having a clean xj but you roll in here like you have all of us trumped on tech advice and builds when you probably clean in between the tread on your mud terrains..... sorry you probably shouldn't have spoke so loud
