So I'm swapping the dana 35 out ( on my 98 xj with 4.5 inches a lift. I have an add a leaf and blocks in the rear) for a 99 chysler 8.25. Will my dana 35 drive shaft bolt right up or will I need to make modifications? Also what size U-bolts will I need considering my lift?

Figuring out your u-bolt size is pretty simple... your axle tubes diameter will be key for one dimension - the inside width. The other will depend on how tall your lift block is because that is going to change the u bolts overall height (obviously). So for that you'd take the axle tube diameter + the lift block height + probably atleast 3" to accomodate the leaf spring perches, the ubolt plates and also enough thread length for the ubolts nut/washer setup. That would give you a fair overall length to shoot for.
