i cant figure it out they both look the same. im thinking its the 8.25

I believe that is a Dana 35. You can also see the Dana Symbol on the plug.

Yes, d35 axle shafts are smaller and weaker, so is the carrier and about everything else. Including axle tubes.

Where does it say you searched?

And honestly, they dont really look the same. The 8.25 has a BIGASS flat lip on the bottom, the d35 does not.
