It's my daily driver and weekend warrior. I know I don't necessarily need them but I want my xj to be solid so I'm ok with spending the money. Mater a fact I went and ordered them today. 14.5 collapsed and 26 extended. It's like 11 and a half inches of travel. Also ordering a 6.5 inch long arm lift this week. Thinks that's enough travel for the lift?

1. Install lift and tires
2. Bump stop.
3. Flex it out and measure compressed and extended.
4. Order and install shocks.
5. Enjoy your property setup rig.
Any other way is guessing and any answer someone gives you is guessing.
My answer is maybe.
I learned this myself the hard way. Thought I was smart enough to just estimate. Now I have too long shocks. Back was easy enough to correct with JKS xover shock mounts. The front had to be over bumped and sacrifice up travel. So in the end it cost me more and I have a sub optimal front setup.

So I did the math and figured out that I'm only gaining 0.27 inches of travel in the front and 0.05 inches of travel in the rear. So my guess is that will be perfectly fine. And yes I know that little tiny amount can through things off. But in this case I don't think it will even be noticeable. Side by side the shocks would look identical other than the fact these have a resivor and are a thousand times better shock. Can't wait to get these bad turkeys
