how wouldn't a lunchbox or full carrier locker not hop around in the front when turning. Both front tires are going to spin the same speed regardless of it being in 4wd or not?... Obviously a selectable front locker would eliminate that so no questions there.

i opted out of buying a front locker for my D30 for now as i wasn't to sure about driving capabilities on the road with it hoping around. I deff wasn't gonna spend $1400 for a selectable when i could just build a better d44 or d60 for the same price as the locker alone.
The lunchbox lockers only engage when there is power to them. No power to it (like in the front in 2wd) means it functions like the spider gears.

Ifs it's a dd do the front first. You won't notice it all in 2wd. And in 4wd it will pull nice.

I would assume that if you put some kind of locker in the front everything else should be in tip top condition. Having worn ujoints or anthing else could cause something to break with the weaker front end. For a DD I like this Idea.

When you add the locker, you may as well replace ball joints and u joints at the same time because you have to have everything out to install it anyway.
