I read where one fellow had this issue and his interaction with pacesetter concluded with...pacesetter was going to make an honest effort investigating the problem and attempt to correct it. naturally the thread ended shortly thereafter with no closure. that thread was almost a year old at this point. thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.
Get it. Install it. Get a new downpipe made if its an issue. Or just get an APN like everybody else non-renix

Default 89 cherokee cat replacement??

Im getting this annoying rattle the rock inside the cat is breaking loose. so the cat is basicly junk I was thinking about replacing it but don't know if stock or aftermarket is the way to go I already have a brand new exhaust new front pipe replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster. I could prolly drive around all winter with the junked out cat but if I was to replace the stock cat would I get any noticeable gains with a magnaflow or flowmaster cat. what would someone on a budget use that would improve milage and horsepower

Replacing a stock cat with a modern high flow cat is always a plus. You get free flow exhaust and still meet emissions requirements per state. Don't let anyone tell you that removing one gives you HP, that is a stupid myth.

Not to mention, a high-flow is cheaper than a stock one.

Magnaflow cats are usually more popular among the people. Check out mudfrog, www.performance-curve.com he has great prices with magnaflow and flomaster cats

Alright guys I need your help once again, I got the Jegs cat back exhaust but found out the whole system from manifold down is in really bad shape so I am going to replace it all. Who and where can I find the pipe from manifold to cat with the o2 sensor bumg welded in? And does anyone make a high flow cat with o2 sensor bung welded in?
